Connecting Finnish talent with global opportunities through inspiring events and workshops.
Explore EventsThese exclusive 1-2 day workshops are designed to deepen students' understanding of studying abroad while equipping them with the skills and guidance needed to navigate the application processes. Featuring guest speakers, current students from top international universities and workshops by our partners, the event offers direct mentorship and insider insights to equip the students with skills to gain a place from their dream university. These workshops also foster a strong sense of community connecting students with like-minded peers, the Project Access team and speakers. We hope every participant leaves not only with inspiration and ambition but also with meaningful connections and lifelong connections.

The fifth and so far the largest bootcamp brought together nearly 40 distinguished speakers and over 30 high school students for an intensive two-day experience. Participants gained invaluable insights into the application process, receiving guidance directly from a Harvard interviewer, a Cambridge admissions officer, a former member of the European Parliament, Mayor of Helsinki and a record number of current students and alumni from top universities.

After hosting our 2021 bootcamp online due to the pandemic, we were thrilled to return to Hannes Snellman's office. This year marked a record achievement, with 10 students receiving offers from top universities. A key highlight was an inspiring session with Mikko Kiesiläinen, Chief Economist of Helsinki.
Led by the Project Access Finland team or our High School Ambassadors and featuring a student from a top university abroad, these sessions offer a glimpse into what studying abroad as a Finn is really like. Designed to be both inspiring and interactive, they encourage students to ask questions based on their interests, ensuring they receive the most relevant and valuable insights.
This unique event brings together the talent of our mentors, creating an opportunity for all students interested in studying abroad to gain crucial insights. Project Access Finland is dedicated to ensuring that every student has access to valuable guidance, and this in-person experience provides that given the limited spots in our bootcamps and the growing number of applicants each year. The event offers a condensed, high-impact experience—an afternoon filled with practical knowledge and the chance to connect with Finnish students from top international universities. Through inspiring talks, interactive discussions and small-group mentoring, students learn about available opportunities and the steps they can take to make studying abroad a reality.
